Session Description

Adrien K. Wing is the Associate Dean for International and Comparative Law Programs and the Bessie Dutton Murray Professor at the University of Iowa College of Law, where she has taught since 1987. Additionally, she serves as the Director of the University of Iowa Center for Human Rights, as well as Director of the France summer abroad program. Author of over 160 publications, her courses include Law in the Muslim World, Critical Race Theory, and Sex Discrimination. She is editor of Critical Race Feminism and Global Critical Race Feminism. She holds degrees from Princeton, UCLA, and Stanford Law School. She has been a member of ASIL since 1982, and is on the Board of Editors of the American Journal of International Law. She also serves as a mentor for the ASIL Women's Interest Group (WILIG).
